CC&E provided cost estimating services for the renovation and expansion of a 1,050,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility. The project included renovations to over 350,000 square feet of existing space to enhance manufacturing capabilities and reactivate previously unused warehouse areas.

Additionally, more than 400,000 square feet of new construction was added, including manufacturing, office, laboratory, and utility spaces—designed to accommodate all blade-making operations for the client’s northeastern operations. As part of our services, CC&E delivered a basis-of-design estimate, developed value management strategies, and presented cost options to maintain alignment with the overall project budget. We were also contracted to provide IPD contractor validation services prior to construction. Working in close collaboration with the architect and owner, our team ensured scope accuracy and budget verification, resulting in the identification and elimination of over $40 million in unnecessary costs—offering the client meaningful quality assurance and peace of mind.
