Our Process

Tailored to you: we know every project is unique. That’s why CC&E offers end-to-end construction management services for the best results for your distinct project. Here’s how we’ll work together:

Pre-Construction Phase

Budget Development

Taking the Owner’s initial idea and establishing the appropriate funding resources required. Establishing an achievable budget.

Milestone Estimating

Conventional estimating process of Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD) on a predetermined estimating schedule.

Continuous Estimating

The estimating process gets rolled up into the overall design process. We believe in being proactive rather than reactive. CC&E constantly updates the Design Development as it occurs.

Constructability Review

Performed at 80% - 90% complete documents to review for potential change orders, RFIs, and scope alignment issues / coordination of drawings. Taking this step allows for a tighter & more conformed set of construction documents.

Value Management

Our experts know a good value when we see it. Our process includes getting a project back to budget without reducing quality, Owner requirements, scope, goals, quality and intended end use of the project.

GMP Reconciliation

3rd party opinion estimate to review not only the detailed budget but the scope of work with the selected Construction Manager (CM).

Facility Assessments

CC&E will also review existing building conditions to provide a needs report to help reveal an immediate 5 – 10-year outlook of capital improvements and their associated costs.

Scheduling Services

Our construction estimating team will develop a milestone schedule during the Design Phase to create the overall project timeline.
