CC&E provided CD level cost estimating services for the new Hitachi Digital Lab located in Hagerstown, Maryland. Designed by Desmone Architects, the 5,180-square-foot facility includes a mezzanine, lobby, social meeting area, storage, utility rooms, and restrooms, all supporting Hitachi Rail’s advanced digital manufacturing operations.
The building also features a green roof and exterior lighting as part of its sustainable design. This lab complements Hitachi’s nearby $70 million railcar manufacturing plant, serving as a hub for innovation and technology.
