Aurora Flight Sciences Facility Building Addition

CC&E provided Design Development (DD) and Construction Document (CD) level cost estimating services for a 91,745 square foot renovation and addition to the Aurora Flight Sciences Facility in Columbus, Mississippi. The project includes 46,675 square feet of new construction and 45,070 square feet of renovations to enhance the facility’s advanced aerospace manufacturing and research capabilities. Operated by Aurora Flight Sciences, a Boeing Company, the facility supports the development of autonomous systems and advanced composite technologies. The scope required detailed cost planning for complex systems and specialized infrastructure to align with Aurora’s high-performance standards.
